About GEHU
Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) was founded in 2011 under the Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES), a non-profit organization established in 1993. GEES began as Graphic Era Institute of Technology — the first self-financed engineering institute in North India — under the vision of Founder-President Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, who started with just ₹29,000 and built one of India's most respected educational groups. GEHU has three self-contained campuses at Dehradun (Bell Road, Clement Town), Bhimtal (Kumaon foothills), and Haldwani (Bareilly Road). The Dehradun campus is centrally located — bordered by Rajaji National Park on one side and Clement Town Cantonment on the other — just 5 minutes from ISBT Dehradun, 20 minutes from the Railway Station, and 1 hour from Dehradun Airport. The university offers 50+ courses across Engineering, Management, Commerce, Computer Application, Law, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Design, Media & Mass Communication, Fine Arts, Animation, and Allied Sciences.
