About ITM

Institute of Technology and Management (ITM) is Uttarakhand's pioneering IT education institution, established in 2002 — when the state's education ecosystem had yet to embrace the IT sector. Affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal (Central University) Srinagar Garhwal and Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand Vishwavidyalaya, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, ITM was the first and only resident alma-mater for professional IT courses in the state, designing its programs with active guidance of the Uttarakhand Education Ministry. Over more than two decades, ITM has established dominance as the lead institute for professional courses in IT, Management, Commerce, Animation, Library Sciences, Hotel Management, Journalism, and Fine Arts. ITM holds the prestigious title of "Lead Institute of Academic Excellence" awarded by Microsoft. It is also a recognized Skill Development Partner under the Skill India Programme by NSDC, Government of India, and an official Study Center of Uttarakhand Open University. ITM partners with TCS iON to provide six industry certifications — in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Cyber Security, Design Thinking, and Data Analysis — one per semester to every student, significantly boosting employability.
